Charity News December 2021

December 01, 2021 3:35 PM | Lynn Roginski (Administrator)

Quilting has so many opportunities to bring joy. When there is much we cannot control in our lives making quilts gives the opportunity to choose fabrics, colors, patterns, and threads.

To finish out this year, the ACQ Charity Quilts committee would like to make another donation of quilts to Volunteers of America locations at Clermont Commons and the Family Motel. One more drop in early December will help ACQ Charity Quilts exceed the number donated last year and help to achieve this year’s goal of 300 quilts.

Please contact me if you have completed quilts ready to donate. We will schedule a meet up.

The most recent donation of 25 quilts was at VOA Family Motel. I love that I receive a warm welcome from the receptionist at the front desk and the security detail who helps me carry in the quilts. Please see the photo of the beautiful quilts ready to share comfort and joy.
