Thanks to all the members who participated in the 3 in 1 Challenge. It is incredible how many different ways three small fabrics can be used to create amazing wall hangings.
The Challenge participants brought their wall hangings, along withthe artistic explanation on a 5” x 7” size paper attached to the bottom of the piece to our June meeting. During the “Books and Bargains” event, each member voted for their top three favorites. You can see pictures of all the entries on our www.acqcolorado.org website.
The following projects received top honors:
1st Place: Linda Mazunik for her thread painted flowers
2nd Place: Barb Pond for her “Sunset in the City”
3rd Place: Saundra Dowling for her rock formation creation.
Congratulations to our top honors, but the creativity displayed made all of them winners!
