2020: MODERN AMISHModern Amish was made by the following ACQ members who also participate in the Quilters Denver bee: Jen Dietz, Marianne Jeffrey, Carole Fronk, Amy Petersen, Christian Dietz, Karen Burkenheim, Mary Holt, Jan Rosa, Janet Thornber, Barb Pond, Herb Anderson, Issac Rios Cabera, Susan Roy, Jerry Dunbar, and Rachel Lambrecht. This quilt was designed by Marianne Jeffrey and custom quilted by Amy Petersen. It is foundation paper pieced with fabric that was hand-dyed by Amy. It finished at 96"×96". This quilt has been appraised at $11,500 by quilt appraiser Cindy Brick. Leofredo Vialpando held the winning ticket. |
2019: Friendships Through the SeasonsThe 2019 quilt, Friendships Through the Seasons, is an original design inspired by Lone Tree in Ohio by Glad Creations, Inc., Minneapolis, MN. Designed and pieced by the “Stitchin’ in Aurora” Bee: Nancy Conklin, Carol Haines, Carolyn Morris, Terri Scott and Jan Wolfgram. Quilted by: Linda Lillehammer of LinlillyLongarm, Denver, CO. The quilt is 93" x 94" and is appraised at $3550. Don McClean held the winning ticket. |
