Q. When are your monthly quilt guild meetings held?
A. Typically we meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month. The doors usually open at 6:20 pm and the meetings begin at 6:50 pm. Be sure to check the Guild Meetings page for changes in any particular month.
Q. Do I have to be a member to attend a guild meeting?
A. Guests are welcome to attend with an $8 admission fee.
Q. Do I have to live in Arapahoe County to become a member?
A. No, we are quilters from all over the Metro Denver area. We live in Arapahoe, Aurora, Denver, Douglas, Jefferson counties and more. Join us!
Q. When are your workshops held?
A. Workshops are usually held on the Friday following a guild meeting, but we don't have them every month. Be sure to the check the Workshops page for upcoming classes.
Q. Do I have to be a member to attend a workshop?
Non-members may attend workshops as long as space is available after an initial early-bird registration period for ACQ members. If you plan to attend multiple workshops in a year, you may wish to join ACQ.
Q. Do you know someone I can hire who can make a quilt for me? Or a longarm quilter I can hire who can finish a quilt top for me?
A. We recommend that you look under the Resources tab at ACQ's Business Member Directory for all of your quiltmaking resources. Be sure to tell them you found them through ACQ.
Q. How often will ACQ email me?
A. We send our newsletter once a month to members. In addition we work hard to include important and timely information in the news section, on the calendar and in our social media posts. Check those pages when you have questions. But we know that everyone doesn't check the website every day. When there is important and timely information for all members we do send out occasional emails in addition to the monthly newsletter. Also, if you have registered for a workshop or volunteered to help sell raffle tickets or bring cookies to a meeting, you should receive reminders by email.
