Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

Q. When are your monthly quilt guild meetings held?

A. Typically we meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month. Be sure to check the Guild Meetings page for changes in any particular month--start time & whether in person or online only.

Q. Where do I find the Zoom link to a meeting?
A. Links are sent by email to members and guests who register for a guild meeting. On the day of a guild meeting members can also find the link  on the Members-only page that is password protected.

Q. Do I have to be a member to attend a guild meeting?
A. Guests are welcome to attend guild meetings with an $8 admission fee that can be paid securely online prior to meeting.

Q. Do I have to live in Arapahoe County to become a member?
A. No, we are quilters from all over the Metro Denver area and the US. We live in Arapahoe, Aurora, Denver, Douglas, Jefferson counties and more. Join us!

Q. When are your workshops held?
A. Workshops are often held on the Saturday following a guild meeting, but we don't have them every month & with online workshops, the schedule may differ each month. Be sure to the check the Workshops page for upcoming classes.

Q. Do I have to be a member to attend a workshop?
Non-members may attend workshops as long as space is available after an initial registration period for ACQ members. If you plan to attend multiple workshops in a year, you may wish to join ACQ.

Q. Do you know someone I can hire who can make a quilt for me? Or a longarm quilter I can hire who can finish a quilt top for me?
A. We recommend that you look under the Resources tab at ACQ's Business Member Directory for all of your quiltmaking resources. Be sure to tell them you found them through ACQ.

Q. How often will ACQ email me?
A. We send our newsletter once a month to members. We work hard to include important and timely information in the news section, on the calendar and in our social media posts. Check those pages when you have questions. But we know that everyone doesn't check the website every day. When there is important and timely information for all members we do send out occasional emails and reminders in addition to the monthly newsletter. Also, if you have registered for a meeting, workshop or other event, you should receive reminders by email.

Q. Where are your monthly quilt guild meetings held?
A1. Online meetings are held through Zoom. Links to the meetings are sent by email when you register for a meeting or event.

A2. When we meet in person, our meetings are held at
First Plymouth Congregational Church,
3501 S. Colorado Blvd.
Englewood, CO 80113

Q. Where are your workshops held?
A. Most workshops are held at Holly's Quilt Cabin. See individual workshop details to confirm location.

    Q. How do I find my membership card?
    A. Sign in to the website, and then click on View Profile in the top right corner where you see the person icon. Once in your profile, you will see your membership card. You can either print the card, or copy it to your smartphone.
