January Guild Meeting: Demo Night

Kick off the New Year with ACQ!

Our January Demo Night will help you start the new year with tips and tricks to use with your quilting projects for 2020.

  • Doors open at 6:20 and the meeting begins at 6:50. 
  • There is no guest fee for our Demo Night, so please bring a friend or two and make it a fun night.  
  • Refreshments will be available throughout the night.
  • No Show & Tell tonight.
  • Library books: please return any library books. Books will not be set up for check out at Demo Night.

Led by ACQ Business Members, some of the helpful demonstrations include:

  • Nifty Notions – Learn how to make a small pouch using a new zipper, charm packs, and triangle squares. (Fabric Expressions)

  • Fun and Quick 9 Patches – You can do so much with this great block! (Wooden Spools)

  • Applique – Learn not to be afraid of this technique. (Valentine Designs)

  • Curved Piecing – No pins! (Jenny Kae Parks)

  • Peaky & Spike – Learn the right way to use the kite ruler to make this great block and incorporate it into your designs. (Bound to Be Quilting)

  • Threads and Needles – Make sure you are using the right ones. (SeamsLikeADream)

  • Strippy Stars Ruler (Holly's Quilt Cabin)
