JUST CUT THE SCRAPS WITH MICHELE CRAWFORD

What DO you do with all your scraps? Become a frugal and “green” quilter by using your scraps and making quilts!   Learn Michele’s “formula” – the more the merrier (fabric that is), to create quilts using Color Value to offer contrast, depth and movement in your quilts! Michele will present an informational and inspirational power point presentation of various types of scrap quilts along with a trunk show of her own original scrap quilts. Her mantra is “No scrap left behind”!

About Michele

Michele writes: “I love to quilt and share my passion of quilting with my students and customers! I have the gift of being able to combine colors and fabrics together through the design process to create her quilts!

As a quilt teacher, students will find my classes jam packed with cutting, piecing plus pressing tips and techniques; enthusiasm; and encouragement! I want my students to have FUN, “step out of their box” to try something new, and work at their own pace as there isn’t a “quilt police” in my classes.”

Michele has taught at: AQS Paducah; Home Machine Quilting Show (HMQS); Northwest Quilting Expo; Houston Quilt Festival; Quilt Expo Reno; Road to California; Rocky Mountain Quilt Festival; Sewing and Stitchery Expo; and various quilt guilds.

Learn more about Michele:

Michele is doing 2 half day workshops for us on January 14th.  In the morning will be Crumb Quilting.   In the afternoon Spontaneous Log Cabins.   Both workshops require some fabric preparation, so check the supply list for instructions.  No fabric buying needed, you have everything in your stash already.

The Zoom meeting room will open at 6:15 and the meeting will begin at 6:30 Mountain time. Guests are also welcome to attend this meeting for $8.00.  Please register ahead of time and ensure that you know how to use Zoom prior to the meeting. The link will come by email when you register.

ACQ Members: Please sign in and register for free—it's so helpful to know how many are coming AND you'll be eligible for door prizes when you register. You will find the Show & Tell submission form on the Members-only page.
